Samantha Watters is a graduate of Belmont University with a degree in Commercial Music and an emphasis in Songwriting. Growing up watching Doris Day, Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, & Judy Garland has fueled Samantha’s love for performing jazz and musical theater music whenever she has the opportunity. Samantha is honored to perform with the South Jackson Street Band as well as in various local musical theater productions. Her favorite musical theater roles to date have included Maria (The Sound of Music), Belle (Beauty & the Beast), Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady), Amalia Balash (She Loves Me), Abigail Adams (1776), & Mary Hatch Bailey (It’s a Wonderful Life). When not onstage, Samantha loves singing in the kitchen, reading, taking pictures of God’s beautiful landscapes, playing escape rooms with her hubby, and practicing her favorite form of dance: tap dancing.
