Dr. Jerry Anderson, originally from West Tennessee, gained an appreciation for Big Band Music from two main sources: His after-school job with a 'beautiful music' radio station and a family friend who was a WWII Vet who had been stationed at Camp Forest in Tullahoma during the war, and at a time when the Big Bands were often a weekly feature.
Nationally recognized for his singing by no less than a very popular radio and media personality, the late and great Paul Harvey, Jerry still loves the music of the Big Band Era and songs of singers like Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Al Martino, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett and others from that great music culture.
When he sings Sinatra's "Come Fly with Me!" he sounds like he really means it!
